CONFERENCE ON A PAN-MUSLIM FREE TRADE AGREEMENT
The Minaret of Freedom Institute seeks a proposal for organizing a
conference aimed at advancing a PAN-MUSLIM FREE TRADE AGREEMENT.
Proposers are expected to take full responsibility for organizing, promoting,
and documenting the conference.
The proposal should not be a for strictly academic conference, but for
a workshop effectively aimed at motivating Muslim countries to actually
establish a free-trade agreementg.
Proposers must demonstrate that they are familiar with the obstacles
that have prevented such a free trade agreement to date and that they
can design a conference which will provoke changes to make progress
in this area feasible.
Proposals should be self-contained.
We recommend the following format:
I. Summary of purpose, means, venue, and a total cost figure.
II. Statement of the record, personnel, facilities, and capabilities
of the proposing organization.
III. Detailed proposal of the plans for designing, implementing, promoting,
and documenting the conference. Include an explanation as to how you
expect to be able to involve academics and government people as well
as the numbers of persons to be invited, how the proceedings shall be
produced etc. Include proposed period of performance and names and resumes
of key people.
IV. Budget. Include all costs including travel expenses and company
profit, if any.
Send three (3) copies of the complete proposal, to:
Minaret of Freedom Institute / 4323 Rosedale Avenue / Bethesda, MD 20814
