• Dr. Ahmad was asked for his statements on recent events in Libya by the Dundalk Eagle.
• Dr. Imad-ad-Dean Ahmad and Rev. James Bressard discuss "Economic Justice" on "The Scholar's Chair" TV program.
  
• We participated in a Council on Foreign Relations teleconference on Syria featuring Elliott Abrams and Ed Husain.

• Dr. Ahmad was interviewed by Fars News Agency on the Israeli suicides ("Israeli Suicides Evoke the Memory of the Tunisian Ignition of the Arab Spring")
• Dr. Ahmad was interviewed by Fars News Agency  on the prospects for the fall of the Assad regime ("The Fall of the Assad Regime: Imminent or Just Inevitable?")
• Voice of Russia interviewed Dr. Ahmad on the rapidly deteriorating situation in Syria.

June 2012

• Dr. Ahmad was interviewed on the Freedom News Hour /Survival Meltdown on allegations that the New York Police Department was carrying out illegal surveillance of Muslim students and their organizations as far removed from their jurisdiction as universities in upstate New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, indeed all over the northeast with neither cause nor warrant.
• Dr. Ahmad's article "FBI Entrapment and Preemptive Prosecution: The Case of Khalifah Al-Akili" was published on our blog.

February 2012

• Dr. Ahmad was interviewed by Voice of Russia on"Afghanistan Reaction to Burning Korans."
  
• Our volunteer Nancy Kebe returned from her five-week trip to Sierra Leone where she launched our pilot project to educate the people on the actual teachings of Islam regarding the culturally persistent practice of female genital mutilation (FGM).
